Lemon Ginger Hot Toddy- (Cinnamon sticks, Lemongrass, Ginger, Lemon peel.) Add boiling water, steep 5 minutes. Add honey, whiskey, rum, or brandy.
Wassail-Cider Spices- (Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg.) Add spices to 1-gallon of apple cider. Simmer and serve hot or cold.
Orange Clove Hot Toddy- (Cinnamon sticks, orange peel, chicory, cloves.) Add boiling water, steep 5 minutes. Add honey, whiskey, rum, or brandy.)
Wassail-Wine Spices- ( Orange peel, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, cloves.) Add spices to 1-gallon red wine. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, and simmer. Squeeze in the juice of 2 oranges. serve hot or cold.
Sangria Spice Blend- ( Cinnamon, sticks, cloves, allspice, star anise.) steep spices in 2 cups of boiling water. Combine with 3-5 liters of red wine, 2 cups pomegranate juice, 2 cups Grand Marnier, along with with fresh fruit- lemons, limes, oranges, apples, and blueberries. Steep overnight in the fridge. serve over ice.
